Managing your password and security
Keep your Accupe account secure with strong authentication practices.
Changing your password
- Go to Settings > Security.
- Click Change Password.
- Enter your current password.
- Enter and confirm your new password.
- Click Update Password.
Password requirements
Your password must:
- Be at least 8 characters long
- We recommend using a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols
Session management
Under Settings > Security, you can view active sessions and sign out of specific devices if needed.
Data protection
Accupe implements industry-standard security measures:
- Encryption at rest using AES-256
- Encryption in transit using TLS 1.3
- Row-level security ensuring each firm can only access its own data
- Regular backups with point-in-time recovery
Recommendation: Use a unique password for Accupe that is not shared with any other service. Consider using a password manager.
