For growing firms

The work is fine. Knowing who has it is the problem.

The moment jobs leave your own desk, three questions get hard: who is on this, who is overloaded, and did that engagement actually make money. Accupe answers all three from the work your team is already logging.

Growth is £55 a month: up to 5 seats, unlimited clients, unlimited active jobs.

What changes when there are five of you.

Nothing in the technical work gets harder. What breaks is the informal system that worked when one person held every deadline: the mental list, the corridor handover, the folder only one of you can find.

Delegation that survives the handover

A job carries its own task checklist from a template, so the person picking it up gets the same steps every time. Assign a task and it lands on their list, on the firm Smart Board, and, if you mark it client-visible, in the client’s portal so they can see what stage it is at.

You can see who is drowning

The Team Heatmap shows workload per person rather than per firm, so an overloaded senior and an idle junior stop looking identical on a dashboard. You find out on Tuesday, not at the Friday deadline.

One queue instead of five inboxes

Triage is a single shared list of what needs a human: unread client messages, jobs overdue or due soon, tasks landing in the next fortnight, and signature requests waiting on someone. Work it with the keyboard and it empties.

Time and money

Price the next job from what the last one cost.

  • Time captured as it happensTimers and timesheets record to the minute, against the job, so the WIP figure is not reconstructed from memory on the last day of the month.
  • Profitability per job, not per firmEach job compares its fee against the hours logged at each staffer’s own cost rate, and shows the margin and margin percentage. The jobs quietly losing money stop hiding inside a healthy total.
  • Invoices built from the tracked timeTurn the captured hours into an invoice with line items and per-line VAT, put your VAT number or UAE TRN on it, send a Stripe payment link, and sync the entry to Xero or Zoho Books.
  • Permissions that fit a real teamFive roles plus fourteen individual permissions: who sees financial reports, who can approve a KYC verification, who can send a signature request, who can delete a client. Set per person, overriding the role default.

The client side of a bigger team.

From Growth, clients can upload into the portal rather than emailing attachments to whoever they spoke to last, and you can send documents for e-signature with per-signer fields, signing order, reminders and an expiry. Engagement letters come back signed with a completion certificate and a public verification page.

Bulk sends are included, so a fee-change letter goes to the whole client list in one pass instead of one attachment at a time.

Worth knowing before you switch

Accupe does not file returns to HMRC or the FTA, and it is not MTD-recognised software. It is the layer above whatever you file with, so your filing process does not change.

It also does not run sanctions, PEP or adverse-media screening. Identity and document verification with a full review trail is in the product; screening is not, and Accupe is not a substitute for your AML obligations.
