Sharing documents securely

Every document in Accupe is stored in the encrypted Vault. Here is how to share files with clients.

Sharing a document

  1. Go to the client's Documents tab.
  2. Upload a file or select an existing one.
  3. Toggle Visible to Client to on.
  4. The document immediately appears in their portal.

Requesting a document from a client

  1. In the Documents tab, click Request Document.
  2. Enter a description (e.g. "Bank statement for January 2026").
  3. Click Send Request.

Your client will see the request in their portal and can upload the file directly.

Document security

  • All files are encrypted at rest and in transit (AES-256 / TLS 1.3).
  • Access logs track every view and download.
  • Documents can be locked to prevent further changes.
Storage limits: Your available Vault storage depends on your subscription tier. Check Settings > Billing to see your current usage.
