Sharing documents securely
Every document in Accupe is stored in the encrypted Vault. Here is how to share files with clients.
Sharing a document
- Go to the client's Documents tab.
- Upload a file or select an existing one.
- Toggle Visible to Client to on.
- The document immediately appears in their portal.
Requesting a document from a client
- In the Documents tab, click Request Document.
- Enter a description (e.g. "Bank statement for January 2026").
- Click Send Request.
Your client will see the request in their portal and can upload the file directly.
Document security
- All files are encrypted at rest and in transit (AES-256 / TLS 1.3).
- Access logs track every view and download.
- Documents can be locked to prevent further changes.
Storage limits: Your available Vault storage depends on your subscription tier. Check Settings > Billing to see your current usage.
