Using nested folders
Organise your documents in a hierarchical folder structure for easy navigation.
Creating a folder
- Open the Documents tab.
- Click the New Folder button.
- Enter a folder name (e.g. "2026 Tax Documents").
- Click Create Folder.
Navigating folders
- Click on a folder to open it and see its contents.
- Use the breadcrumb bar at the top to navigate back to parent folders.
- Click Root in the breadcrumb to return to the top level.
Creating nested folders
You can create folders inside other folders:
- Navigate into the parent folder.
- Click New Folder.
- The new folder is created inside the current directory.
Folder uploads
When you upload an entire folder from your computer, Accupe preserves the directory structure automatically. Subfolders appear as navigable folders in the document view.
Tip: Use a consistent naming convention across clients, for example: "Year / Document Type" (e.g. "2026/Tax Returns").
