Uploading documents to AI Chat
Give the AI context by uploading documents directly into your chat session.
How to upload
- Open an AI Chat session.
- Click the Upload button (paperclip icon) in the chat input area.
- Select one or more files from your computer.
- The AI will process the document and confirm when it is ready.
Supported file types
Asking questions about uploads
Once a document is uploaded, you can ask questions like:
- "What is the total revenue on this profit and loss statement?"
- "Summarise the key terms of this agreement."
- "Are there any red flags in this bank statement?"
Session-scoped documents
Each chat session has its own document area. Documents uploaded in one session are not visible in other sessions. This ensures conversations stay focused and relevant.
Storage: AI Chat documents count towards your firm's overall storage limit. Check your usage in Settings > Billing.
