Uploading documents to AI Chat

Give the AI context by uploading documents directly into your chat session.

How to upload

  1. Open an AI Chat session.
  2. Click the Upload button (paperclip icon) in the chat input area.
  3. Select one or more files from your computer.
  4. The AI will process the document and confirm when it is ready.

Supported file types

Asking questions about uploads

Once a document is uploaded, you can ask questions like:

  • "What is the total revenue on this profit and loss statement?"
  • "Summarise the key terms of this agreement."
  • "Are there any red flags in this bank statement?"

Session-scoped documents

Each chat session has its own document area. Documents uploaded in one session are not visible in other sessions. This ensures conversations stay focused and relevant.

Storage: AI Chat documents count towards your firm's overall storage limit. Check your usage in Settings > Billing.
