Notifications

Where your notifications live

Accupe surfaces notifications inside Triage (Sidebar > Triage, /dashboard/inbox) alongside your unread messages, upcoming jobs and tasks, pending signatures, and compliance reviews, as one unified list of everything that needs your attention, rather than a separate notification inbox you have to check on its own.

How Triage's categories break down

Triage has a row of filter pills across the top that let you narrow the list down to one kind of item at a time:

FilterShows
AllEverything needing your attention
MessagesUnread messages sent by clients
JobsJobs that are overdue or due soon
TasksTasks assigned or delegated to you that are due soon
SignaturesSignature requests awaiting action
ComplianceAML screenings pending review
NotificationsYour unread notifications

The Tasks filter is scoped to you specifically if you're general staff. Admins and managers see every open task due soon across the whole firm in that bucket, not just their own - the other filters (Messages, Jobs, Signatures, Compliance) already show the same firm-wide list to every role.

Click "Notifications" to narrow the list to just your unread notification items. If you have none, you'll see "No notifications", with the note "When something needs your attention, you'll see it here."

Opening a notification

Click a notification row, or highlight it and press Enter, and Accupe takes you straight to whatever it relates to. If a particular notification doesn't have a specific destination attached, you're taken to the dedicated Notifications page instead.

Staying on top of Triage

A few conveniences apply to the whole Triage list, notifications included:

  • Keyboard shortcuts: press J or K to move down or up the list, and Enter to open the highlighted row, handy for clearing a long list without reaching for the mouse. These only work when you're not currently typing in a text field.
  • Refresh: click the Refresh button, or press Cmd/Ctrl+R while on the page, to pull the latest items on demand.
  • Triage remembers what it last loaded, so switching to Messages and back doesn't leave you staring at a blank screen while it reloads.
Note: Triage only shows unread notifications. Once something's been dealt with, either by opening it or by the underlying item being resolved, it drops off the list on its own, so an empty Notifications filter genuinely means you're caught up.
