Calendar & Deadlines
See every job and task deadline in one region-aware calendar, with an ICS subscribe feed.
Calendar and Deadlines answers one question: what has to be delivered, and by when. The deadline calendar pulls every open job and every open task from across the firm into a single month grid, then adjusts each due date to account for weekends and public holidays in your region, so the date you see is the date the work is actually due. Colours and overdue styling make the pressure points obvious at a glance.
Deadlines do not have to stay inside Accupe either. Your firm’s job deadlines can be pulled into Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook through a subscribe link (an ICS feed) rather than a one-off export, so new and changed dates keep appearing automatically alongside your client meetings.
Working-day shifting is the point of this calendar
The grid merges two lists: open jobs with a due date (anything not Complete or Cancelled), and open tasks with a due date, the task list alone capped at 2,000 records. Both are firm-wide rather than personal, deliberately, so the whole team reads the same calendar rather than fifteen private ones. Jobs render as purple pills with a briefcase icon and link through to All Jobs; tasks render as green pills with a checklist icon and link to All Tasks.
What makes the page worth opening is that it does not show raw due dates. For each item Accupe walks forward from the actual due date to the next working day, skipping Saturdays and Sundays (both UK and UAE firms run a Monday to Friday week on this calendar) and skipping public holidays for your firm’s region, and displays the deadline there instead. A shifted deadline is marked with a dashed amber line down the left edge of its pill, and hovering it names the original date, for example “shifted from 2026-08-30”.
The holiday lists are maintained as fixed lists per region. England and Wales bank holidays are currently loaded through 2027, while the UAE list covers 2026 only. Several UAE dates (Eid al-Fitr, Arafat Day, Eid al-Adha, Hijri New Year and the Prophet’s Birthday) are Hijri-calendar based and marked as approximate, so treat them as planning guidance rather than legal confirmation.
Reading the month grid
The calendar only ever shows a full month, laid out Monday to Sunday with the weekend columns shaded and labelled in a more muted colour, and today marked with a filled circular badge. There is no week view, no day view and no jump-to-date: the controls are previous month, next month and Today. A status line below the navigation summarises what is on the grid, for example “5 open jobs · 12 tasks · UK working week”.
Overdue overrides the usual colouring. If an item’s effective, region-shifted date is today or later, it keeps its purple or green pill. If that effective date has already passed, the pill turns red regardless of whether it is a job or a task, which makes red the first thing to scan for. Each day cell shows a maximum of three pills before collapsing the remainder into a plain “+N more” line, and that line is text rather than a control, so it does not expand or open anything.
Subscribing from Apple, Google or Outlook
Below the grid, a panel headed “Subscribe in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook” carries a Copy subscribe URL button. Paste that URL into your calendar app as a subscription rather than a one-time import and it keeps refreshing as deadlines change. The calendar appears in your app named after your firm, and each event is an all-day entry using the same region-shifted date logic as the in-app view, with the job’s status and category in the description and a reminder alarm already set for seven days before the deadline. You do not need to add your own alert on top of it.
Refresh is not instant on either side. Your calendar app decides its own schedule, and Accupe’s side of the feed updates at most every 30 minutes, so a due date changed this afternoon may not appear in Outlook this afternoon. If your app reports that it cannot load the feed, check you copied the whole URL including the token on the end, since a truncated or missing token returns an error rather than calendar data.
What people come here to do
- See every deadline in one place. What lands on the grid, how the working-day shift is calculated, and how to spot a shifted date.
- Read the colours and the overdue styling. The grid layout, what each pill colour means, and what happens on a day with more than three deadlines.
- Get deadlines into your own calendar app. Copying the subscribe URL, adding it in four apps, and how often each side actually refreshes.

Things that catch people out
The subscribed feed carries jobs only
Task deadlines do not sync to Apple, Google or Outlook. If you need task-level dates as well, keep using the in-app Calendar page alongside your subscription.
No pill links to a specific record
A purple pill opens the general All Jobs list and a green pill opens All Tasks, both in the app and from an event in a subscribed calendar. Once you have spotted a deadline, use that list’s own search to reach the exact record.
UAE holidays run out after 2026
A UAE-region firm looking at 2027 or later gets weekend shifting only, not public holiday shifting, until the list is refreshed. Worth remembering if you are planning next year’s deadlines from this view.
A missing subscribe panel is not something you can fix
The panel only renders once your firm’s calendar feed link exists, and there is no settings screen to view, copy or regenerate that link. If the panel is absent, contact Accupe support rather than assuming the page is broken.
Where to go next
- Practice Management. Where due dates, recurrence and assignees are actually set on the jobs and tasks that appear here.
- Smart Board. The same deadlines as a Kanban view, with overdue cards sorted to the top of every column.
- Getting Started. Your region, which decides the holiday calendar used for every shift on this page, is set and locked during onboarding.
