Understanding your Compliance Radar score
Compliance Radar gives you a real-time, 0 to 100 compliance score for every client, combining their KYC document and Smart Capture status, their AML screening history, and, where relevant, director screening history. Open it from the sidebar (Compliance Radar, admin and manager roles only) or the command palette.
Important: Accupe has withdrawn sanctions and PEP screening, so the AML and director components below can only ever read screenings your firm ran while the feature was live. On a client that was never screened they will sit at their deduction permanently, and there is no longer a Run Check button that would clear them. Read the KYC and document components as the live signal, and treat the AML component as a record of what was done historically.
Reading the score
Every client starts at 100 and has points deducted for each outstanding issue. The final score is grouped into three bands:
Four metric cards at the top (Total Clients, Fully Compliant, Review Due, Action Needed) act as filters, click one to show only clients in that band. If any client is Red, a banner appears at the top of the page: "n client(s) require(s) immediate compliance action."
What lowers a client's score
AML (historical screenings only):
The -15 is the one you can still act on: work the Pending Review queue down as described in "Reviewing and clearing historical AML hits" and it clears. The -20 cannot be cleared from inside Accupe any more, because no new screening can be created.
KYC documents:
If the client has a Smart Capture verification on file, it overrides the document-based KYC status: an approved verification forces KYC status to Verified and floors the client's score at 95 (clearing any stale "no documents" issues in the process); a pending verification shows as awaiting review; a rejected one caps the score at 60.
Directors: for clients sourced from Companies House with an active company number, Accupe pulls the current officer list from Companies House and matches each officer's name against your firm's stored AML screenings. A match only counts as "screened" at 60 percent confidence or higher, a shared surname alone isn't enough. Unscreened directors cost 10 points each, up to a maximum of 30, and are listed by name (up to the first three) in the client's issues. Because screening is retired, this too can only match against historical records; the current way to evidence a director is to file a verification document against them on the client's KYC tab.
The radar table
Each row shows Risk (a coloured status dot), Client, Score, AML status, KYC status, Directors (shown as, for example, "2/3 Verified"), Next Review (the latest screening's date plus one year, or a dash if none exists), and Issues. Expand a row to see every outstanding issue listed individually under "Issues Requiring Action."
Tip: The Radar's score is calculated live every time you load or refresh the page, it isn't the same value as the compliance status badge you see on the Contacts list. Accupe re-saves that stored badge whenever an AML hit is dispositioned and whenever a KYC Smart Capture verification is approved. Since screenings can no longer be run, a disposition is now the only AML event that refreshes it, so if the Contacts badge looks stale, open Compliance Radar for the authoritative figure.
