Branding Your Client Portal
Your client portal can carry your firm's own logo, colours, and web address instead of looking like generic software. All of this lives in one place.
Where to find it
Go to Settings > Firm Details, then open the Branding card. You need admin permissions to see this page; everyone else sees "Access Restricted."
Logo and icon
Upload your firm's logo, and a separate square Sidebar Icon (1:1 ratio) that appears in the portal's compact navigation.
Choosing your colours (light mode)
Each field has a colour swatch plus a hex input, so you can pick visually or paste an exact hex code.
Dark mode portal
A "Dark mode portal" section lets you set the same three fields again for a dark theme. This is not automatic: your portal never switches based on a visitor's device or browser preference. It only shows the dark version when someone opens your portal link with ?t=dark added to the end of the URL, so you decide when to share a dark link.
Leave the defaults if you don't need a dark version.
Setting your portal address
The "Client Portal URL" field is where you choose your slug, the part of the address after accupe.com/p/. As you type, Accupe checks availability in real time and shows whether it's available, already taken, still checking, or hit an error. This is the same address clients use to log in (with /login on the end) and where anyone can drop off files without logging in at all.
Portal QR code
Once you've set a slug, a Portal QR Code appears automatically, coloured with your Brand Primary colour and encoding your portal address (accupe.com/p/ your slug). Select "Download PNG" to save it for print materials, business cards, or your office. Clients scan it to open your portal, then sign in with their Client Code as usual.
Custom domain
The Custom Domain field lets you point your own web address (for example portal.yourfirm.com) at your Accupe portal instead of using accupe.com/p/. This field is only editable on the Elite plan; on other plans it is shown disabled with a note that custom domain mapping is available exclusively on the Elite plan. On Elite, a "Verify DNS" button sits next to the field, activating once you've typed a domain; the help text underneath tells you exactly what to do, point your CNAME record to www.accupe.com to use your own domain.
Client portal access by plan
Elite also unlocks white-label branding on the automated emails clients receive when you send them portal access, using your own logo and brand colour with a small "Powered by Accupe" footer, rather than plain Accupe branding.
Note: The dark portal theme is opt-in per link, not per visitor. If you want to share a dark version of your portal, add ?t=dark to the URL yourself before sending it; most clients should just use your standard portal link.
